Schwaz is a medieval city located in the Austrian region Tyrol. It's not that far from Innsbruck the capital of the region. The city is known for its silver mine. The silver made the emperor of Austria and the Fugger banking family of Augsburg wealthy. It would be taken to Hall in Tirol, another beautiful medieval city nearby, where the silver was turned into coins. The silver mine is still accessible.
