Slow travel vlog | London to Austria (ft. night train + Brussels day trip)

For this slow travel vlog I share my journey from London to Austria in March. I travelled with my friend Maren (@marenhunsberger) and we took the Eurostar to Brussels, spent a day exploring the city and boarded the night train to Vienna in the evening.

There are other ways to get to Austria by train which I discuss in my previous video (link below) but this is one of the quickest routes.

A few years ago I quit flying for holidays and since then whenever I go away I travel by land or sea, mainly by train or ferry. I’m hoping that by showing how much more of an adventure it is to take the train rather than flying will inspire others to travel this way.

If you’re interested in learning more about slow or sustainable travel and seeing what other flight-free holidays look like I will be uploading more videos in the future which explore both.
