Halo, saya Bule gila yang naik Yamaha Mio melintasi Indonesia! This video takes you on a journey through the vibrant urban life of Jakarta, Indonesia, exploring its bustling streets and local culture. We make a stop at a motorcycle repair shop, sample delicious street food, and navigate the city's hidden alleys, giving you a real taste of everyday life in Jakarta.
Episode 23: Jakarta Madness & The Ultimate Bombshell Yesterday, I finally rolled into Jakarta on my journey from Medan to Timor Leste. And honestly? This city is pure madness. The traffic, the constant gridlock—it’s a total shock to my system. I’m just an Austrian country boy. Back home, I’m basically in the forest, but here, it's just endless shopping malls and chaos.
But then came the real shock: The mechanics at Yamaha told me I need a general overhaul costing 4 to 5 million Rupiah. That’s literally what the bike is worth! I was standing at a crossroads: Should I just call it quits? Is this the end of the Mio GP Adventure?.
After some serious thinking and checking out a smaller workshop, I decided to do the minimum repairs and just keep going. If she dies, she dies!. I spent a few days in Jakarta working on videos, exploring the local street food (and getting tired of chicken and rice!), but the city is just too much for me.
Because the Mio survived the madness of Sumatra and Jakarta, she’s getting a special upgrade as a reward!. But the real challenge is just beginning. Will we survive the rest of Java?.
