My travel and tours
After Rhine we crossed into Austria -some city in Austria we spent overnight and a day in. I just remember the Cuckoo Clocks, the Austrian dresses in a display shop and the cozy, dreamy sleeping place with the finest of interior decor!
I immediately took control of the couch to sleep on while the other female took the bed.
Every day and night I used to pop paracetamol and the dutch meds the tour director/guide provided me to keep moving. I had travel insurance but I didn't know where to go with my English in the European world of Dutch, German, Swiss, Italian, French languages of the countries I visited- that the untrained tour director/guide knew- the reason I booked this Europe tour with a professional operator.
I thought the tour operator rep- the guide was responsible for any unfortunate issues such as my deteriorating health and sleeplessness because the driver was doing a good job of driving us to the tourist destinations. But I was not her problem. When I hinted her meds were not working, she told me to take 2 of each 4 times a day!
No, she wasn't a doctor!
Never again I'd book an early bird tour nor with a budget operator!
