German unification, or Deutsche Einigung, started with the Dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire by Napoleon who created the North German Confederation (Initial military alliance), European liberalism - German version emphasized tradition, became the main doctrine of the German Unification Movememnt. they focussed on education and linguistic unity to boost their economy. this was further enhances through the German Zollverein (customs union). This Prussian Customs Union allowed for the Industrialisation and the emergence of trains, Rise of Prussia, Bismarck, and the eventual German power that could become independent in the Concert of europe. The Reaction to Danish and French nationalism caused a war with Denmark and the Franco-Prussian War, resulting in Prussian military successes that would lead to the unification of the German Empire.
