Back in 2009 my wife Nicola and I took her Peugeot 306 across Europe for an eight-day road drip. We started in Calais, headed down to the South of France and St Tropez, via Marsailles. Then into Italy, through Milan, over the Stelvio pass and into Austria, whence to Germany, Luxembourg and Holland. And then home.
This is the "video" that I caught in dribs and drabs en route.
We're talking zero production values here. Footage taken using a 10MP Samsung point-n shoot camera (honestly, I have no idea why I didn't take something decent on a trip like this. But hey. Lo-Fi, innit.
The 306, incidentally, is Nicola's first and only car, and she still drives it today — more than twelve years after we made the trip.
