Contrary to popular belief, I found Hallstatt overhyped.

I mean yes, it’s beautiful if you see it as an Indian living in a chaotic Mumbai lifestyle.

But compare it to other places near Hallstatt itself, it is definitely hyped!

On your next trip to Austria. Hallstatt is closer to reach from Salzburg.
Do not miss on places like wolfgangsee, fuschl am see, St Gilgen.

All accessible from Salzburg on a bus. 40 - 60mins ride. Remember, this ride is not covered on the salzburg card. Although you can get discounted tickets with salzburg card.
