Vienna's first district is called the "Innenstadt" which means "The Inner or Heart City Center". It is quite self explanatory. It is not only the most central of all districts and the legislative focal point of Vienna. It is also the historic core of the city. The Stephansdom Cathedral or in English St. Stephen's Cathedral is the most historic and most visited by the Tourists. Stephansdom Cathedral is the mother church of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna and the most important religious building in Vienna and in Austrian history.
