Vienna (Wien) is one of the most beautiful and livable cities in the world. Throughout the history, the city is known as the 'City of Music' and the 'City of Dreams'. In the survey of Quality of Life, Vienna is in the second place among 25 modern cities in the world, making it a real city of dreams, both for the locals and its visitors.

One of Europe's most visited cities roots from early Celtic and Roman colonies has now evolved into a modern place enriched with the medieval architechture. Hofburg, the official resideny of the Austrian ruler since 1275, is also the most historically significant palace of Vienna making it one of the main attractions of the city. The historic complex consists of numerous buildings reflecting various periods, including architectural flourishes from the Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo movements.

Another popular destination for the Vienna lovers is the Schönbrunn Palace and its surrounding beautiful park. The park along with the amazing Baroque gardens is also designated as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The St. Stephen's Cathedral with its beautiful Gothic architecture also consists of zigzag-patterned roof symbolising the city back in 12th century. You can also get a spectacular view of the city from the tallest church tower making it a must visit. Other popular destinations include Belvedere Palace, Vienna Zoo, The Vienna State Opera House and Kunsthistorisches Museum.

The city has also a great network of public transport which helps the visitors to roam around the city without much hassle. Another popular transportation vechicle you can find in Vienna are horse-drawn carriages. A walk through the city gives you a fascinating experience of the streets coming together with the cultural history of centuries making Vienna a popular tourist destination.
