On the occasion of our 8th Wedding anniversary, we made a trip to Innsbruck from Vienna.
We booked a 3 night stay in AC Hotel by Marriott in Innsbruck.
Trains run every hour from Vienna to Innsbruck and we enjoyed the beautiful scenic route that train took. It took 4 and half hours to reach by train in Innsbruck.
As mentioned earlier we had booked AC Hotel by Marriott and it was just 5 minutes walk from train station Our stay was quite comfortable.
We purchased Innsbruck city card which we highly recommend if you plan to see many attractions. Also public transport is nearly free with this card.
We did all the touristy things like visiting the Alpine zoo, Nordketten mountain, Golder roof, Old city walk, taking picture by Inn River, walking Maria Theresian strasse, seeing Hofkirche and Hofburg.
Also we visited Swarovski Crystal world and we loved it.
