Vienna is the capital of the Federal Republic of Austria. For centuries this city acts as the economic center of southern Central Europe. Modernity of urban facilities and infrastructure does not necessarily displace and eliminate the old. UNESCO recognizes that Vienna is a cultural heritage recognized by the world.
