Hello from Vienna from the Christmas market am Hof.
Enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere in front of the beautiful backdrop at the Hof in downtown Vienna and discover handmade and selected gift ideas from more than 50 exhibitors.
Around 1280, the courtyard developed into a marketplace after the Habsburgs exchanged the Babenberg residence that had been built here for the newly built seat, today's Hofburg. From 1842-1922 and 1938-1942 a Christmas market "Am Hof" was very popular and this tradition is continued to this day.
