This walk in Vienna takes place in the 19th district in Döbling / Grinzing. Grinzing is an old wine village with home-cooked fresh food in a traditional "Heurigen". Grinzing is located in the north-west of Vienna and is the largest district of Döbling. It is a unique part of Vienna that has retained the charm of an old wine village. The first mention of Grinzing dates back to 1114. In 1892 Grinzing was included in the city of Vienna. Vienna is the only capital in the world, which has vast vineyards within the city borders, and Grinzing is known as one of the best wine regions of Vienna.
