Is the desktop image on your computer a sunny beach, or other far away vacation you wish you were on?
You may not be able to get away from the office, but with the increasing trend of virtual tourism, that dream vacation could be just a set of goggles away.
As technology progresses, more and more travel destinations are finding their way to the top of the virtual reality list. It's no longer just roller coasters and NASA visits people want to experience without leaving the ground.
Though places like Las Vegas and the UK are using virtual tours to recruit their visitors, others are focusing on bringing that vacation spot directly to the consumer.
In 2016, only time will tell.
