Austria, Peru, eat your hearts out. Meet Shimoguri no Sato, Nagano - Japan’s hidden village in the sky with a unique way of life and farming said to have inspired Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away.

On the way there we're taking a swig of Japan's most mineral rich spring water and replenishing our vanlife tanks. And of course we couldn’t visit without trying out some of Nagano’s most famous produce; Shinshu soba!

Hop in the van with us to see stunning aerial views of the Japanese alps and this unique way of life and grab a bite to eat!
