The Mönchhof Village Museum (Mönchhofer Dorfmuseum) is an open-air museum in Mönchhof in northern Burgenland Austria. The village museum, which has existed since 1990, is run by Christine and Josef Haubenwallner and is one of the tourist attractions in the Seewinkel region around Lake Neusiedl. The Mönchhof Village Museum provides an insight into the everyday life of farmers and craftsmen in the Heideboden (the old name for the northern part of the region now known as the "Seewinkel") in the period from around 1890 to the late 1960s. With the help of about 35 buildings with workshops, tools and furnishings, the village museum tries to bring back to life the everyday life of that time, which was largely dominated by agriculture. In addition to the permanent exhibition area, the Mönchhof Village Museum also regularly hosts special exhibitions.
