The Schlossberg “Castle Hill” is the mountain of Graz which rises in the middle of the city center and presents a whole world for recreation and relaxation in the city. Not only the views are spectacular to discover Graz with a 360° view, but also the popular clock tower called “Uhrturm” is a must see in Graz!

You can get up there via walking or taking the elevator or cable car. However, it is highly recommended to walk up the zigzag shaped stairs that are carved right into the rocks – 260 steps and around 5-10 Minute walk later, you will reach the top of Schlossberg with the clock tower right in front of you.

Don’t miss out the end! We happened to run into a private concert from a traditional Austrian Music Group playing folks music with their own instruments – this is Austria ????
