To celebrates Annelies' 5th birthday in Austria, we drove up to Grossglockner (though we were not really at the mountain itself, we only saw if from afar). The weather that day was so perfect for a drive, the sun was shining but with a cool summer breeze.
We've made few stops to enjoy the mountains around us and the sceneries. Because Netherlands is a super duper flat country, so seeing the Alps was such a treat for me.
As we drove up, in the beginning of our journey, we were literally above the clouds and ahh! the snow-capped mountains and the glaciers were unnoticeable.
We ended the day with a birthday dinner and we just have to try the Wiener's schnitzel.

The following week, we had a post birthday celebration for Annelies with Opa and Oma as her guests.
