Welcome to Austria, I would like to introduce you to my short foray into the Alps, the St. John - Tyrol area, the town of Alpbach right at the foot of these mountains.
As a curiosity, the resort has many ski , snowboard and jetski slopes , but also schools to prepare people for this.
A very quiet resort known especially for winter sports, here also organizing international competitio .
But this is not all ! In summer the resort is full of tourists from England, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, who come for relaxation, hiking, climbing, strong ozone air .
The food is very tasty, with a wide variety of soups specific to the area: garlic soup, onion soup - a culinary delight. Specialists in Gordon Bleau, fish on wood fire, smoked trout, game boiled in tea and red wine must, are just a few dishes that leave your mouth watering .
As accommodation I recommend Jakober Pension - at a price of 55 € / person / night with breakfast included. The pension is two stars and has a bar, restaurant, pizzeria, confectionery, reception lounge, reception, parking. The rooms are imposing and equipped with TV and private bathroom with hairdryer, soap, towels. You can also opt for All Inclusive. They eat very well here and a lot. Don't forget to try the Tyrolean Wine - it's wonderful .
