Women from abroad celebrate Onam in Mothakkara, Wayanad | Mathrubhumi News

Wayanad: A group of European women were hosted by Mothakkara village in Wayanad this Onam. Fourteen women from Austria and Switzerland came here as the guests of Kabani, the Other Direction, an NGO which works in the responsible tourism sector. The foreigners were put up in various houses in Mothakkara itself. The visitors enjoyed the opportunity to see the village life in Wayanad at close quarters.
