We are currently on a bicycle tour around the world. Our trip started in April 2017 and we have been cycling east ever since. We crossed the to the Pamir Highway in August and are currently in SE Asia. After completing this section of the trip we fly to Australia & NZ and finally the Americas. In these videos, we hope to show you what our life is like on the road.

In this episode we take a slight detour along the Thakhek loop. Although we did the route backwards (and not on a motorbike) we still loved it! It took us down to the brilliant Kong Lor cave and through the drowned forests around Thalang. This was a last minute decision and we're so glad we did it.

This part of Laos was spent with old and new friends. We first met Adam & Noemie in Uzbekistan, they like us were riding across the Pamir mountains before heading to SE Asia. Their trip is centered around climbing and they have spent the past few months climbing in both Thailand & Laos.
We first met Cora & Jan in Thailand and then didn't see them again until Laos. After doing previous tours to Spain and Oman they flew to SE Asia in search of more cycling adventures. After riding with us they headed north to Hanoi to fly to Europe for the second part. We had the pleasure of joining them through this part of Laos and shared loads of good cycling secrets.
