Gosau is a mysterious and incredible alpine village with incredible views of the Alps and the Dachstein mountain. This alpine valley together with the Gosausee lake are must-see places in Austria.

The hiking trails that lead to the top of the Dachstein are an experience you will remember for a lifetime. Gosau is one of the best places in Austria and is only 40 minutes from Salzburg and 20 minutes from Hallstatt. This fairy tale in the Alps should definitely be at the top of your list when traveling through the Alps and Austria.
