Located on the River Ure between Hawes & Layburn, Aysgarth Falls remains one of North Yorkshires premier tourist attractions and was famously illustrated in one of Turners paintings (Aysgarth Force as it was known as then). The falls consist of three areas, the lower, middle and upper falls with the latter featuring in the Robin Hood, Prince of thieves feature film.
