Panic buying due to fears of the coronavirus seems to be continuing in the German capital as footage shot on Friday shows empty shelves at a supermarket in Berlin's Lichtenberg neighbourhood.

There are 800 diagnosed cases of coronavirus in Germany, with 28 cases in Berlin. According to the latest report by the World Health Organization (WHO), at least 98,000 people worldwide have been infected by the COVID-19 virus so far, and over 3,300 people have lost their lives.
