With Iglu Dorf you can have a unique overnight experience at six different locations in the Alps. I was invited over at Kühtai, Austria, where they have created a small village entirely made out of compressed snow. The village hosts about 10 igloo's with unique ice sculptures in each of them. When the sun has set you can enjoy a drink at the bar and cheese fondue at the ice restaurant. At night go on a guided snowshoe walk under the stars. The key to a comfortable night is to go in warm. You can either spent some time relaxing in the sauna, do a few exercises or both of course. Although temperatures outside will go deep below 0, inside the igloo the temperature will always be a stable -1 or -2 degrees celsius. In the morning a buffet breakfast is ready at a neighbouring hotel.
