Agentes de la Policía Nacional han detenido en Málaga a un hombre responsable de una empresa de compraventa de vehículos, de 32 años y nacionalidad española, por vender un vehículo de segunda mano trucando el cuentakilómetros en más de 100.000 para que pareciese que tenía menos recorrido.
La investigación se inició a raíz de la denuncia de una mujer informando que había sido víctima de un engaño en la compra de un vehículo de segunda mano, según ha explicado la Policía Nacional en una nota de prensa.
Al parecer ella había comprado un coche con 72.500 kilómetros y meses después de comprarlo se le estropeó y cuando lo llevó a reparar le dijeron que por la avería que presentaba, posiblemente su vehículo tenía más kilómetros que los que marcaba el cuentakilómetros.

The investigation was initiated following the complaint of a woman informing that she had been the victim of a hoax in the purchase of a second-hand vehicle, as explained by the National Police in a press release.
Apparently she had bought a car with 72,500 kilometers and months after buying it it broke down and when she took it to repair they told her that because of the breakdown she presented, possibly her vehicle had more kilometers than those marked by the odometer.
