Circus Circus Hotel (his Owner a model flyer) sponsored a competition for aerobatic Semi Scale very large RC Models.
These took place in alternate years to the official International F3A World Champs. Participation is by invitation only
All participants are invited Top pilots of their countries. Of the 20 Invited, 10 where from The USA,
In 1988, pilots from Austria (the 10 times winner) and Irish, Canadian, German(2), Japan (2), Great Britain, Australia ...
Under difficult conditions a winner emerged after 3 day's flying.
The recording was made with Video 8 (Sony) recordings and copied from a VHS tape which survived the times.
I recorded, copied and edited this twice.
I visited Hanno Prettner a number of times at home and for Ski holidays in Austria.
Please enjoy looking back and forgive the sometimes poor quality of the final product.
