The American Club and FLAD are happy to announce its second tourism theme event: The Current State of Tourism 2.0, on Tuesday, November 8, with special guest of honor, Arnie Weissmann , Editor-in-Chief of Travel Weekly, the most influential business publication in the global tourist industry. Mr. Weissmann has been a leader in the areas of travel journalism, publishing and media for the past 30 years, has been a web pioneer for tourism and has led the growth of Travel Weekly since heading the organization it in 2001. We are proud that one of the most sought-after industry leaders in world tourism has come to Portugal especially at the invitation of the American Club, thanks to the generosity of our Sponsor FLAD and to the direct contribution of Sheree Mitchell of Immersa Global.
Mr. Weissmann will be joined on the panel by Adolfo Mesquita Nunes, prior Secretary of State for Tourism of Portugal and Sheree M. Mitchell, President and Founder of Immersa Global, a tourism management company operating customized travels to Portugal for wealthy Americans, and a member of the Board of the American Club.
