Walking in Eisenstadt in Austria, the capital of the Austrian state of Burgenland. With a population of just 15.000 this small city's most famous sight is Esterházy Palace. The city also boasts a small but very neat historic town center with lots of old buildings. Because it's a rather small place you can explore most of it easily on foot.
The baroque Esterházy palace is the starting point of my video. Because you have to buy a ticket to enter it, I only captured it from the outside. From the palce I walk through the old town center with its historic buildings and then to the huge Esterházy palace gardens. The gardens are a famous spot to relax and hang out for the people of Eisenstadt (and the local population of ducks).
Eisenstadt is not far from Austria's capital Vienna. You can reach there via train or car in less than an hour.
00:01 The front entrance of Esterházy Palace in Austria
02:10 Entering the city's pedestrian zone
04:20 The main square of Eisenstadt in Austria
13:30 Reaching the outskirts. At this point I realized that I had gone wrong so I went back a few hundred meters
16:20 Entering the park surrounding Esterházy Palace
24:50 Ducks!
30:00 Back in the city centre of Eisenstadt in Austria
