Whatever you do and however you can get here do not miss Hallstatt and Vienna. This area is so picturesque. Especially Hallstatt, is absolutely stunning and beautiful. We arrived by car on a cold rainy day on our first day. Our accommodation was in a super good location (can snap a postcard view easily) The walk is easy to follow and has great views of the lake and mountains, as well as passing through the historical sites from the earlier salt works.

And we visited Vienna on day trip from Hallstatt. We spent a day in Vienna. It is a beautiful city with a lot of interesting architecture and musical masterpieces alongside its coffee-house culture. It was dreamlike to get closer and closer to the town. Everything was so peaceful. Loved it all and will be back.
