While cruising down the Danube river from Passau to Vienna, Budapest, and Bratislava, we also stopped in the small-ish Austrian towns of Melk and Grein. The Melk Abbey is a gigantic religious fortress, basically, which also houses a museum with many interesting artefacts, including the Melk Cross, which supposedly contains a wooden piece of the "True Cross". #rivercruise #austria #melkabbey
