In this episode, I focused on Schonbrunn Palace, the most visited site in Vienna. It is famous as the magnificent former summer residence of the powerful Habsburg emperors in Vienna, a stunning example of Baroque architecture, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a major tourist attraction known for its opulent rooms, vast gardens, and historical significance. Its fame stems from its rich history, association with famous rulers, stunning Rococo interiors, and cultural importance as a symbol of Austrian imperial power.
At the end of the visit, I went straigh to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s most famous market serves up a vibrant culinary lineup with around 120 stalls, a market hall and numerous eateries. You can find fruit, vegetables and various delicacies from every country from dawn till dusk. Increasing numbers of trendy "in" places are also finding somewhere to set up in the more than 120 market stands. In addition, a new market hall and a newly landscaped park – known as the Naschpark – invite visitors to stop by. In the market hall, 13 stalls showcase their regional products, which range from fish to chocolate. Right in the middle, the market bar “Brutal am Markt” serves modern market cuisine. The green roof of the market hall is open to the public. There is free Wi-Fi across the entire Naschmarkt area.
