El Nido, Philippines is paradise. And it's actually an amazing place for some landscape photography.

We came to The Philippines for the photography. And, it doesn't hurt to be in a place where you get a really nice mix of photography and adventure. And, it especially doesn't hurt when that location is absolutely paradise. Nothing beats being able to shoot photography in bare feet and a t-shirt. Our location, El Nido is absolutely paradise.
This Philippines vlog is actually an amazing place for photography. I think most people come here thinking about lazy beach days and maybe diving. But, the reality is that it's actually one of the best places in the world for landscape photography.
Our base is a town called El Nido, which is north on Palawan Island. I was here last year, and wanted to bring a group of adventure-minded photographers back here to explore and shoot some images. So, that's what we've done.
This video is mostly about getting to the start of our 2018 adventure trip. But, we get out an shoot some photography as well. I took our group to one of the most classic places to photograph El Nido and the beautiful island that sits just off the coast.
From here in paradise, we'll base ourselves in El Nido for 7 days of photography tips, tutorials, editing, critiques, and adventures. I can't wait to share them all with you!
Tomorrow, we head out on a boat trip for Tour C here in El Nido, Philippines.
