Tourism

The discovery of rich springs of warm and healing water, which is said to be as high as 80 °C at the source, helped to open a spa in the city in 1978, which eventually grew into the large Parkterme thermal bath along the Mura. In general, the city center with its historic town houses, well-organized squares and a wide variety of shops, as well as marked parking lots, footpaths and cycle paths is very pleasant for tourists and visitors.
City attractions

On Main Square, the town hall with its Gothic tower is surrounded by three-story buildings, once the property of rich merchants and nobles. In the hall for ceremonies there are frescoes with motifs of the Radgon people's struggle for annexation to Austria after the First World War. Opposite the town hall is the Pistor Palace, one of the oldest in the city, in its basement valuable frescoes by the Radgon painter Janez Akvila were discovered.

A mighty baroque door leads to the Church of Mary. Until 1920, when the city belonged to Austria, Sunday masses were held in the Slovenian language, which is why believers from Prekmurje and Slovenske gorice liked to come here, which is also reminded of by the Slovenian sign above the door.

North of the main square stands Puh's House, where Janez Puh, a famous Slovenian inventor, mechanic and vehicle manufacturer who worked in Graz, served as an apprentice.
Culture
The city is marked by lively cultural events all year round, which reaches its peak in the summer, with the festival of jazz, blues and brass in the new congress center.
