Here is my first trip abroad sinse the pundemic. When the borders began to open in the fall I couldn't wait to visit a new country. My best friend Kirill who lives in Serbia invited me to celebrate the New Year with him in Belgrade. Russia has opened its borders with only a few countries, including Serbia, so of course I agreed to visit Belgrade!

I'll be honest, I can't say that I was very impressed with Belgrade, but it was nice to walk there. The city is really very cozy, inexpensive and beautiful. I especially liked the view from the fortress of the city. It really reminds me of the place where I studied in Austria during the student exchange.

We also went to the ski resort of Zlatibor but unfortunately we were not lucky with the weather. I hope next time I can see more places of this beautiful country. I definitely advise you to visit Serbia - the country is amazing!
