Austria doesn't have a beach, but our neighbors do.
Hopping into the car and driving six hours to the closest beach on the northern coast of Italy sounds like a great plan.
That's what thousands of Austrians and Germans do, as it is the fastest and cheapest way to dip into saltwater and get some holiday vibes without having to jump into an airplane.
