We are now near Linz and are going to the mountains, driving first on the A1 motorway and the B309 national road to the beautiful historical town of Steyr. Steyr has a long history as a manufacturing center and has given its name to several manufacturers headquartered there, such as the former Steyr-Daimler-Puch conglomerate and its successor Steyr Motors.
