GABRIELE WOLF
PRODUCT INNOVATION
AUSTRIAN TOURIST OFFICE, NEW YORK
Gabriele is a native of Salzburg and has lived in New York for over 30 years. She has joined the Austrian Tourist Office in the mid-80s, where her career in travel began. After counseling clients who were planning trips to Austria, she started working with journalists and the media, which allowed her to develop interesting Austrian stories. She is currently assisting the travel industry in curating the perfect Austrian guest experience.
Some of her favorite subjects are classical music, exciting museums, holiday traditions, the farm-to-table movement, and the beautiful wines that winemakers produce in Austria's Eastern parts. Growing up in Salzburg has instilled in her a lifelong love for the Austrian countryside, snowcapped mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and the vibrant village communities. Her heart always grows a bit sentimental when the advent season in December arrives. Her favorite music pieces are the trumpet concerts on Christmas eve that ring through Salzburg's Old town, Mozart's Clarinet concertos, and Beethoven's piano concertos
