Europe has raised its COVID-19 risk level from 'moderate' to 'high', as the virus spreads rapidly and the death toll rises.
In Italy, the number of confirmed cases surged to almost 17-hundred and the death toll topped 40.
Hundred-50 are infected in Germany and 1-hundred-30 in France.
In Iran, that figure is now over 15-hundred... and 66 people have died so far including one of the top officials advising the Iranian Supreme Leader.
Portugal and Indonesia reported their first cases.
Meanwhile, the U.S. had its second death from the virus on Monday.
In China, more than 80-thousand people are infected... and the disease took over 2-thousand-9-hundred lives.
