In my first hike in over four months and for the first time outside of Japan, I ventured to the famous UNESCO World Heritage Railway Semmeringbahn and hiked through the stunning landscapes surrounding it. In this part of Austria, high rock mountains and forests dot the landscape and provide some of the most iconic views found in this country.
