Finally, we're going back to Europe. This times destination is Germany, and there's going to be a lot to do. Oktoberfest is around the corner, and there are many castles to conquer.
Day six of our journey begins with us traveling around Reutte. After a quick breakfast, we head towards the Highline179 bridge that we were not able to get to last night. It is a crazy and gorgeous view. I don't know anywhere in the world that you can walk from one mountain top to the other via a bridge that you can see through. From there, it's to the next hight point Mount Zugspitze from the German side.
From the longest hanging bridge to the longest cable car on a single line. We are hitting all the high spots today. We took the Eibsee Cable car to the top! Again, there was another bridge that connected Germany to Austria. It was nuts.
Coming down from the top of the highest point in Germany, we head back towards Austria, but not before taking a quick pitstop in Mittenswald. We try to find the Leutasch Gorge from the German side, but are unable to and end up seeing it from the Austrian side.
Finally, we end up in Innsbruck for a nice stroll through downtown to finish the day.
