Berchtesgaden Germany is such a beautiful place. Mountains and lakes and more mountains. On this day, our tandem bicycle adventure took us by bus from the glorious dining room view of our bed and breakfast to "das Kehlsteinhaus" better known as "The Eagle's Nest"-- a WWII place of resort for Hitler and his guests. A place with an interesting and eerie history. Worth the visit for it's significance, but especially the views. From there we made our way to Bruck on der Grossglockner, visited Zell am See and ended the day at Fusch an der Grossglocknerstrasse where we ate a good dinner and prepared for the big climb over the Grossglockner (highest paved road in Austria) the next morning.
