A tremendous highlight of our Austrian cycling adventure and our riding lives. The Großglockner / Grossglockner is the highest alpine pass in Austria. It's a behemoth of a climb with spectacular vistas, mountain peaks, waterfalls, snowfields. Truly a top of the world bicycle adventure. We had been looking forward to this climb for a long time and now it was finally "the day of the Grossglockner." We rode from Fusch an der Großglockner on the north side to the top, climbed the famous cobbled Edelweissspitze as a bonus climb near the top. The perfect day had us finish in Heiligenblut where we had a glorious dinner and stayed in a bed and breakfast with a view that was out of this world (as you'll see). We hope you enjoy watching.
