We went on this trip on August 26, 2021.
The Thursday before, I threw out my back severely, and Teddy asked mom at the viewpoint cafe for money because he needed it for my back. I thought that was really sweet, and I didn't want to forget that.
Teddy, my boy, you are one clever, compassionate, cute, handsome, funny kid, but your defiance, at the moment, is killing me.
On our way home from a trip, you always ask us in the car if you were a good boy. And more often than not I have been saying, yes, except when you weren't.
The walk was so nice, and really helped my back, the 1.5-hour car ride (twice) was a different story. But making these memories with you is worth it.
The lake, seen from the viewpoint cafe, is actually a water reservoir, which you can also visit from the other side. The grass-covered dam was crying out my name, but it was raining on our way home and it didn't make sense to go there that late, maybe next time.
PS: Last time I visited these waterfalls was probably 15 years ago, maybe longer.
Songs used in this video, for which I either own the license through Artlist or Wondershare Filmora:
Shallow Water - Sivan Talmor
Watermark - Saint Mesa
Cityscapes - Vern Matz
Chimera - Dear Gravity
Mysa - Laurel Violet
Casa Monte Negra - Whiskey Wasps
Wake up - Russo Weinberg
Thank you all for your music, you are all incredible.
