The National Park Hohe Tauern the largest of it’s kind in Austria (and the first to be founded back in 1981), it also features one of the most diverse landscapes and ecosystems. From glaciers to alps, from gorges to waterfalls, it also is home to over 10.000 species of animals and 1.800 species of plants.
