The beach at Possidi - Ποσείδι (as well as Aigaiopelagitika - Αιγαιοπελαγίτικα), on the peninsula of Kassandra in Halkidiki (Greece), has been my summer holiday backyard for over 20 years. I have been blessed that my parents bought a vacation house there a long time ago, and I am happy that I spent most of my childhood summers there. So after all these years, I came back to the "crime scene" with all my gear and filmed. All cameras rolling. This is not one my stereotypical vlogs, since I didn't feel that I needed to say anything. The footage speaks for it self. I also included footage from Karidi - Καρύδι beach, located in the peninsula of Sithonia, near the famous Vourvourou - Βουρβουρού beach. Chalcidice or Chalkidiki or Halkidiki (Greek: Χαλκιδική), is a peninsula and regional unit of Greece, part of the Region of Central Macedonia in Northern Greece. Chalkidiki has been a popular summer tourist destination since the late 1950s when people from Thessaloniki started spending their summer holidays in the coastal villages. In the beginning tourists rented rooms in the houses of locals. By the 1960s, tourists from Austria and Germany started to visit Chalkidiki more frequently. Since the start of the big tourist boom in the 1970s, the whole region has been captured by tourism.
