I started 2020 on a beautiful trip to Salzburg, Austria. Salzburg is a city close to Germany, and this city houses numerous eastern alps and baroque buildings. I stayed in Salzburg for two days and I have tried to utilize the best advantage of my time here. The first day I visited the Mirabel's Palace and later walked through the city center and famous streets such as the Mozarts square, Cathedral square, and Getreidegasse. The next day I took the famous Untersburg cable car to climb the Untersburg mountain. Untersburg mountain is 1700 meters high and offers a panoramic view of the Salzburg city along with Bavaria mountains and Alps. Later on, I explored the Hohensalzburg fortress, on the top of Festungsburg hill, which was one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. I saved the best of Salzburg for the later evening which was the birthplace and the residential house of the famous music composer, Mozart. Mozart was born and raised in Salzburg and this building is a museum of Mozart portraits, belongings, and musical instruments.
