Our 2nd day in the city of Vienna Austria, began with a tour of Schönbrunn Palace, the magnificent summer home of the Hapsburg Dynasty. We enjoyed a guided tour of the Imperial Palace where Maria Theresa resided. The gardens complete with a maze, fountains, and statues were beautiful. We wished we had a full day to tour this fabulous place. We also cover Prater with the famous giant ferris wheel, also remember the place as filming location of the movie “Before Sunrise”. Then we go up to the tower of Donauturm. Vienna was a beautiful city, rich with history, beautiful architecture, and friendly people. It’s a definitely a city we will visit again.
