That's the slogan that also works for skiing! At least if you ask the ski enthusiasts.
Well, I haven't skied for a while. Last time for me on skis was March 2020, just before the pandemic hit the world.
That is why I really enjoyed this skiing day. My first day on skis since 2 years. The Hochjoch skiing area belongs to the Silvretta Montafon ski resort.
The ski resort has modern cable car and lift facilities, wonderful authentic skiing huts with amazing and typical austrian dishes. Yummy!
The Hochjoch Totale, is the longest valley descent in Vorarlberg with 1,700 metres of difference in altitude. It is a ski run from the top of Hochjoch all the way down to the valley to the town Schruns. This route also takes you through the longest ski tunnel in the world, I did this on my first day and it was absolutely amazing! If you have the opportunity to do this, then go for it!
50% of the slope kilometres at the resort are located above 2,000 metres. After a day on skis you know why your tired! "
