Every once and a while, the impossible happens--a full travel day on an international trip where you spend absolutely no money, aka the zero travel day. Today was our first and while we know the technicalities of a zero travel day don't completely make sense, it was still a fun and funny day and it was awesome to say we spent $0 while traveling.

Hearing from all of you and reading your comments about how we can balance our budget and spending while we travel helped us have some really important conversations about how we actually want to experience our trip. While spending the day exploring Innsbruck and some of its beautiful, historical sites, we learned that we both really wanted to get an unobstructed view of the Bergisel Ski Jump and that neither of us were particularly interested in going in and paying 10 euros per person. Although, Lisa started to have some second thoughts...
